Electronic music can generally be placed into two categories: songs that make you dance, and songs that make you cry. But the best tracks can make you do both. edapollo and Juno Mamba have joined forces for a track that does just that in their brand new single, “Drifter.” The track arrives via Seb Wildblood’s label, all my thoughts.
The combination of edapollo, a Foreign Family artist known for his incredibly atmospheric electronica style of music, and Juno Mamba, who frequents on Anjunabeats and makes cathartic and liberating music, is a perfect match. “Drifter” is warm and welcoming in every way, with elegant melodies and a catchy forward-pushing beat. The song simply can make you dance and cry.
On the track, Juno Mamba had this to share:
“Ed and I connected years ago and have had a few writing sessions together over that time but have never released anything. Drifter is our first official release. The song came together relatively quickly. Ed sent through a bunch of different ideas and this one really stood out. I was immediately drawn to the rhythmic synth. After a day or so of sound designing, playing around with structure and adding melodic elements, it felt pretty close. I sent it back to Ed and he added the perfect vocals that really suited the vibe. I think Drifter manages to blend both our styles and sounds.”
