Ekali just seems to have been putting out an endless stream of content lately. Not only has he just come through with some serious filth with TYNAN and Hekler, but he also just added another installment to his brilliant “Awakening” mix series.
This weekend, 4B and Ekali appeared on the 150th episode of Insomniac’s Night Owl Radio (hosted by Pasquale Rotella), both throwing down their own, separate, nasty 30-minute mixes. Although this is a little bit shorter of a mix than we’re used to from Ekali, his selections are on point, weaving in tracks by What So Not, QUIX, RL Grime, Charlesthefirst, and Slumberjack.
Ekali doesn’t seem to be slowing down, either. In fact, he’s doing the opposite. He has also confirmed on Twitter that he’ll be releasing a brand new single on Friday, which will be the first off his forthcoming EP. After that, he added, he’ll be working on his first full length album.
