We’ve been waiting for this one for quite some time! When we heard that Ekali & Slumberjack had a collab in the works, we knew it was going to be good, but we couldn’t have predicted how incredible the finished product would sound upon first listen, as the wait for “Helios” is over.
Both Ekali and Slumberjack have definitely been doing the most in the trap-osphere. With Ekali having just dropped his fifth “Awakening” mix and a hard-hitting new collab with Hekler & TYNAN, and Slumberjack coming off a collab with QUIX x josh pan and another with Alison Wonderland, both Ekali and Slumberjack have definitely just added another weapon to their libraries with this latest release. Filled with soft guitar melodies, crunchy, distorted wobbles, skittering percussion and monstrous booming bass, Ekali and Slumberjack have blended heavy trap and melancholic instrumental elements together perfectly on this new release.
