TSIS has been covering Elephante for quite some time now. It's been an exciting experience to watch him grow from his progressive house remix days in 2014 to now where he shares his debut EP, I Am The Elephante, that taps into other genres such as future bass and melodic house. The nine-track project includes his first-ever original work, "Shake The Earth", as well as his latest releases, "Catching On" and "Closer".
While many up-and-coming producers have relied on record labels to propel them forward in their respective careers, Elephante has stuck to his guns and released the majority of his music independently. His introductory EP is no exception. Elephante's team has actively decided to release music on their own terms and using their own resources. Their strategy has led to a string of successful releases that have landed airtime on SiriusXM and exceeded over a million streams on Spotify.
The vocal-based EP features a handful of talented singers including Bishop, Brandyn Burnette, Jessica Jarrell, Jody Brock, Lyon Hart and Nevve who has two features on the project. I Am The Elephante covers a variety of moods, including some we've never heard before like "Sirens" which explores a darker side to the LA producer. He even experiments with new instruments such as the organ which he utilizes on "Plans".
This is by far Elephante's biggest body of work to date so be sure to stream it below. You can also support his musical efforts by purchasing your own copy of the EP. Enjoy!
