It’s a good day to be a bass-music fan. Although it’s been a few years since we received Eprom & G Jones’s massive Acid Disk EP, today the two heavyweight producers have joined forces yet again on a wild new collab “Daemon Veil”.
While this latest was only announced a few days ago, if you’ve caught Eprom or G Jones live recently, chances are you’ve already heard a good bit of this fresh new offering played out. But considering the two have become well known for their respective bombastic, genre-defying sounds – anything we thought we knew about this track flew right out the window upon first listen.
Starting off slow with some eerie atmospheric soundscapes and shrill, echoing percussion, Eprom & G Jones masterfully employ an unmistakable 1995 David Rodigan sample to quickly throw the track into an exceedingly heavy drop from the get-go. Weighing in at five-minutes and packed full of skittering breakbeats, deep, crunchy bass and absolutely destructive sound design, this new experimental bass banger will definitely have your brain doing backflips. Stream “Daemon Veil”, out now via Deadbeats below and enjoy!
