Eprom has been slowly unveiling pieces of his anticipated forthcoming album, Syntheism. Earlier this year, he gifted us the rave-inspired “Untitled Emotional Acid” and now he’s back with his next single, “The Circle.”
Eprom’s unique sound has stretched far beyond anything else in electronic music. “The Circle” finds him entering even heavier territories than before. The linear production features a warped vocal sample of Al Green’s “Love and Happiness” before unleashing an array of mind-melting sound design. Rhythmically, he draws on jungle and break as inspiration but, as expected, adds his own creative spin to the track.
