Eptic’s First Single In A Year, “Stop Pretending,” Is Heavy Dub Banger

||, |,

It’s been a minute since we’ve heard from Eptic, but today fans welcomed him back when he brought all the wubs with his new single “Stop Pretending”. Released today via Monstercat, it’s his first track in almost 12 months, but he’s made up for his absence from the scene with this insanely heavy new tune.

Eptic had this to say about the song:

Beginning of 2020 I was touring so much I had no inspiration to make music, and when I was making music, it was music that people wanted me to make, not the music I wanted to make. This song is me finally having fun with music again and enjoying myself while I’m creating it!

It doesn’t take much time for the beat to wind up and the decibel-splitting bass to take over. The rhythm is relentless throughout the entirety of the track and there are some small little details and switch-ups that showcase what a talented producer Eptic is. A monstrous song that embodies his signature old-school dubstep sound, it has an early 2010’s UKF feel to it.

We’re excited to see what else he’s got in store for us this year. Take a listen to this new headbanger below. Enjoy!
