Getter & Virtual Riot Drop Extra Heavy Remix Of Excision & Space Laces’ “Throwin’ Elbows”

||

Getter and Virtual Riot just dropped an absolutely filthy remix of Excision and Space Laces’ track “Throwin’ Elbows,” giving the dubstep banger an even heavier vibe. In addition to his recent work as Terror Reid, Getter has released his hip-hop tune “Bury Me” as well as a VIP mix of his track “Inhalant Abuse,” all within the span of a week. Similarly, Virtual Riot was recently featured on Dubloadz’s new album and also just dropped a collaboration with 12th Planet and Luberjvck titled “Sooo Sick.” Both artists are keeping the momentum strong with today’s collaboration.

Getter and Virtual Riot’s remix of “Throwin’ Elbows” uses the metal guitar progression and “Give me some room” vocals from the original. It then drops with blasting bass and metallic wobbles before building up to another breakdown complete with melodic synth leads and rising laser sounds. Finally, the collaborators come back full force for a third drop, this time incorporating a hybrid bass vibe, with trap 808s and percussion and whooshing dubstep synths and samples.

Getter and Virtual Riot go all out on their monster of a remix for Excision and Space Laces’ “Throwin’ Elbows,” with a track all bassheads can get behind. This remix is one of many to be featured on Excision’s upcoming Virus the Remixes album, which will be out September 12. Check the track out now below and enjoy!
