One of Canada’s shining stars in electronic music, Eytan Tobin is an established producer with a distinct sound in the underground. His focus is a ravishing blend of house, techno, and club styles that set dance floors ablaze. Tobin’s latest offering is a two-track collection called WORK / POP which came out last week.
“WORK” is a funky song that falls into the footwork/juke category. It’s a hyperactive number with striking synths and an electrifying melody. The vibes are high all the way through, and it gets a little spicy at the end with some percussion. “POP” is a deep and soulful heater, that’s more of a slow-burning techno track. This club-ready tune has choppy vocals and some serious bounce to it.
