French electronic guru Fakear has teamed up with British DJ and producer Alex Metric on his newest single “Carrie.” Along with the track comes the announcement for Fakear’s upcoming album, EWGA, set to release June 26.
Beginning with enchantingly layered and unique vocals, “Carrie” grabs the listener from the very beginning. The soothing and melodic track eventually gives way to relaxing synth leads, ultimately creating a calm and composed atmosphere throughout. “Carrie” is the perfect, rich-textured, ethereal track to vibe and unwind to.
Fakear described “Carrie” as “just the tip of the iceberg of everything I accomplished with Alex Metric” adding that the two worked on his upcoming LP together. After completing work on the LP, the duo found themselves with extra time on their hands, and thus “Carrie” was born. Alex Metric described the track as “a natural continuation of the creative process” following their work on EWGA.
