Flume appears to have some more tracks from the vault lined up for release this week. A teaser video that was shared on a private Flume Telegram server disclosed that something new is happening “this week.”
The video was soundtracked by a previously unreleased song that was featured in his documentary When Everything Was New (at the 5:00 mark), from back in 2019. This is the only place that this unnamed track had previously appeared.
Over the past few days, Flume has been sharing videos of himself going through more old laptops that he uncovered. The first video, which showed a surprised Flume looking through an old DJing computer, ended with a cryptic message that read “TDAGTWYP.” Fans have speculated that this is short for “Things Don’t Always Go The Way You Planned.” There are a couple of other TikTok videos shared over the weekend that preview new music as well.
You can check out the teaser videos below. On his Discord server, there is a scheduled event (titled “????????”) for Wednesday, 1:00 PM ET. We’ll have to wait and see what we get.
