Flying Lotus & Anderson .Paak Share Highly Anticipated Collab “More”

||, |

I first posted about this collaboration back in November 2017. I went to the Flying Lotus 3D show and was pleasantly surprised by an unreleased song I’ve been looking forward to ever since. This of course is the Flying Lotus and Anderson .Paak collaboration. I thought it might come on Anderson’s recent albums and was honestly a bit disappointed when it never popped up on those. Then, Flylo announced his forthcoming album Flamagra stacked with features, and one that stood out to me was none other than Anderson .Paak.

Now the Flyling Lotus x Anderson .Paak single “More” is here in all it’s glory and they sound just as great together as I remember from the previous ID. Flylo revealed the song has been in the works for six years and

The song comes as a world premiere on Apple’s Beats 1 Radio hosted by none other than Zane Lowe.

“We started this song about six years ago. Pretty much, like right away. It was early, it was early. You know, but I didn’t have a project yet and it was like in the very beginning when I was starting to work on my new stuff. So the song has been, it’s been around but it hadn’t been finished. It was a good demo. It was a good demo for a long time. And we were like, “we’ve gotta finish the song.” He kept asking me, anytime I ran into him, “Aye, man, you finished the song, man?” and it was, you know, we knew then it was a good track. We’ve been talking about it for forever. When is our shit going to drop? When it our… Well, soon, soon. So I’m glad it’s out. It’s done.” – Flying Lotus

Flying Lotus already shared album singles like “Spontaneous” ft. Little Dragon, “Tekashi” and “Fire Is Coming” narrated by Twin Peaks director David Lynch. The full album is here May 24 via Warp Records, so stay tuned for more and enjoy!
