There is little known about up and coming LA artist Gallant, apart from the fact that he is the first label mate with ZHU on Mind of a Genius. He’s been making some serious waves with new breakout singles “Open Up” and “Talking In Your Sleep,” and now he’s back at it with a cover of Foo Fighter’s popular classic “Learn To Fly.” Gallant really makes the song his own by reimagining and recreating the tune with soft, minimal production. He even sings with higher notes than the original; his incredibly soulful vocals making for a uniquely beautiful cover that sounds very different from the original.
