Last week, Fred again.. came to New York City to throw a proper rave. He wanted to emulate the vibes from his recent Boiler Room set in London. This meant close quarters, limited capacity, and free. He posted a sign-up link on his socials, and if you were lucky, you were selected to receive a ticket.
The venue was eventually disclosed as H0L0, a popular DIY venue on the edge of Brooklyn and Queens. Fred also revealed that he’d be bringing some friends along, who were revealed to be the Swedish House Mafia. With two such major acts playing such a small venue, an absurd line to get in formed down the block.
Opening the show was up-and-coming NYC-based QRTR, who got the club warmed up for the two massive headliners. Fred again.. and Swedish House Mafia then worked their way through the crowd and hopped on, playing for nearly three hours into the morning on a Thursday night. Four Tet was also in attendance, in near the end of the set, was able to spin a few tracks, too.
You can check out the full video of their set below, which someone has graciously uploaded to YouTube. We aren’t sure how long it will remain up there, so enjoy while you can!
