One of the most highly anticipated albums for hip-hop heads everywhere is just two weeks away from release. Freddie Gibbs and Madlib are rolling out their collaborative Bandana project and they’ve just dropped another fire single. This one is called “Giannis” and it features the one and only Anderson .Paak.
This single is the fourth track we’ve heard so far from the dynamic duo, out of the 15 tracks that Bandana will contain. “Giannis” so far is knocking the hardest out of the singles, with a menacing bass line that lurks deep under Madlib’s lofi, psychedelic production. Anderson .Paak is right at home here too, crafting the perfect hook while throwing down bars of his own as well.
