While some artists are focused on singles, Future is undoubtedly an album artist. He drops projects like it’s nothing, many times with little to no warning. His output is simply impressive. While his last album The WIZRD wasn’t anything impressive when stacked up against his discography, he just dropped an EP that really holds its own. Today we got the seven-track offering titled SAVE ME that is impressive from start to finish.
With every project comes a different sound and alter ego from Future. This sounds like the true follow-up to HNDRXX as he leans more into his R&B / sensibilities. Some of these songs are incredibly catchy as he belts out his crooning R&B vocals with pristine vocal effects. He’s teasing more music too so don’t be surprised if he unleashes more EPs or albums in the near future, as he always seems to do. Standout tracks are “XanaX Damage,” “Shotgun” and “Love Thy Enemies.” Enjoy!
