G-Eazy and Carnage have linked up once again on a new single called "Guala" that will be part of their new joint project titled Step Brothers. It's looking like "Guala" could be the lead single off a new EP as Carnage tweeted teasing their first EP is finished (below).
The two have collaborated several times in the past. Carnage had the Bay Area rapper featured on his hip-hop single "I Like Tuh" feat. ILoveMakonnen back in 2015 and Carnage was featured on G-Eazy's single "Loaded" back in 2013. When asked how long their new track came together, Carnage said they finished it in two nights.
"Guala" also comes paired with a goofy music video in which G-Eazy and Carnage are walking around town with big heads (you'll see what we mean when you watch the video). The track itself is produced by Carnage and Breaux, a rising producer that Carnage has teamed with multiple times for incredible remix collaborations of songs like "Mara".
It's interesting to see Carnage expanding roles in his latest by taking on rapping duties. "Guala" brings a slow-rolling, piano-based hip-hop beat while Eazy and Carnage lay down their steady verses. Check out the music video for "Guala" below and enjoy!
