Gallant Releases Powerful Ballad “Fly On The Wall. (Osaka Version)” Ahead of New Album

||, |

Announcing his third studio album, Zinc., set for release late September, producer, songwriter, and artist, Gallant, is taking his renowned experimental edge to new heights. Kicking off this new era, Gallant presents his upcoming album’s first single, “Fly On The Wall. (Osaka Version).”

To say Gallant’s silky smooth vocal performance is impressive is an understatement. His lush melodies and detailed harmonic arrangements are stunning, paired with self-deprecating, honest, and vulnerable lyrics. A live drum kit helps bring the track to an even more intimate level, with most everything in the production taking a step back to make room for the vocals.

Gallant commented on the meaning behind the track:

It came together as an honest and visceral story I’d been trying to write for a long time. It’s focused on the lyrics. The chorus reminded me of saying something I regretted in the heat of the moment during an argument.
