Ghastly Takes Listeners On A Bass-Heavy Journey Through His Debut Album ‘The Mystifying Oracle’

||

Over the past four years, Ghastly, real name David Lee Crow, has come a ridiculously long way from singing in death metal band The Irish Front and sleeping in a van and to international touring packing out festivals. Having released 15+ singles and numerous collabs since 2014, today Ghastly has started a new chapter in his quickly growing career with the release of his debut album The Mystifying Oracle.

For someone who’s never released an EP, let alone a full length project, we’re incredibly impressed at this cohesiveness of this latest offering. Featuring influences from dubstep to electro to future bass, it’s apparent that Ghastly has put in an incredible amount of work to reach the current evolution of his unique house-centric production style. While included on the album are the recently released tracks “LSD”, “Fake U Out” and “Black Mamba”, listeners can expect a beautiful sonic journey through lush crescendos, distorted, bass heavy drops, unexpected tempo changes and soft melodic transitions throughout the entirety of this brand new 13-track project.
