Gorillaz to Reissue Classic Self-Titled Album with Previously Unreleased Tracks

|||

One of the all-time great albums of the early 2000s is getting a massive reissue. The self-titled album by Gorillaz, originally released in 2001, is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a new boxset that will contain all sorts of goodies.

Within the boxset, fans will receive “documents, memos, faxes and some early drawings (assumed lost in a fire) and 8 discs of vinyl.” Those 8 discs will include never-before-released demos, “G-Sides,” a previously unreleased live set 2001, and the album itself, Gorillaz.

While we’re stoked to see that this is such a stacked boxset, we mainly can’t wait to get our hands on those demos and G-sides. It will be like stepping into a time machine and going back to when Gorillaz were just getting started.

The Gorillaz reissue is set for a release on December 10.
