Paris, France-born producer, Greg Kozo, had an interesting start to his career, developing his sound in-between stints as a bass player in funk bands. Without a doubt inspired by his funk days, Kozo combines his love for digging into the bass pocket with a decade’s worth of house inspiration. His newest tune, “Tu Voz,” exemplifies his unique style and influence.
Kozo utilizes rhythmic synth stabs in the track’s intro, acting as both a percussive and melodic element all at once. A deep kick and groovy bass line enter to introduce an even more entrancing cadence, taking the production to new heights. The producer builds the track with new elements as “Tu Voz” progresses, all the while remaining equally exciting in both its breakdowns and drops.
