A year ago to the date we were blessed with GRiZ’s “A Fine Way To Die” as a single off his impressive Say It Loud album, and it’s been on heavy rotation ever since. With his holiday fundraising extravaganza 12 days of Grizmas kicking off yesterday, GRiZ is in a giving mood and delivers a new rendition of “A Fine Way To Die.”
This new version celebrates the start of Grizmas as the Detroit native interacts with fans in a series of unique fundraising experiences in his hometown benefiting “Little Kids Rock,” which works to put music back in America’s schools. This reimagined version of “A Fine Way To Die” is smoothed out with more volume as this talented producer has reworked and added layers of slick instrumentation making for a new experience while leaving the soulful vocals intact. The sax breakdown is tweaked with a new call & response section bringing a new life to the track and moves into a new gritty bass drop that seamlessly transitions to peaceful melodies with backing vocals, sexy guitar riffs, sultry sax crooning and fun organic percussion. This new, extended version is packed with new elements sounding like a completely new song and is a wonderful listen. Click here for more info and to donate. Enjoy!
