Is there anything GRiZ can’t do? When he’s not touring some of his biggest headlining festivals to-date, he’s back in his Denver studio churning out some of the freshest music we’ve ever heard. For those of you who are unaware, his Chasing The Golden Hour series is a culmination of GRiZ’s lighter, more melodic persona with more funk, jazz and hip-hop roots. Today, he’s released Chasing The Golden Hour 4 which comes just in time for the changing of the season and the mellow months to come.
GRiZ picks up right where he left off on Chasing The Golden Hour 3. The groovy vibes are oozing on each track and every one maintains that vintage sound we’ve become so familiar with on these projects. Everything from the bubbly opening track “Mystik Dub,” to the guitar-driven “Your Light,” the ProbCause & Chrishira featured “Airplane Mode,” the dreamy downtempo “Gooey,” and the slow-burning closer “Sundown” is packed to the brim with GRiZ’s most soulful, vulnerable and optimistic moments. GRiZ has always managed to bring nothing but the best vibes to everything he’s a part of and Chasing The Golden Hour 4 is yet another beautiful gift at a time where we could all stand to use a little more positivity.
