This Friday was packed with new music from an array of talented artists. Among the list of releases this weekend is a single from an artist you might recognize, electronic virtuoso, Gryffin. Still riding the high from his smash collaboration with One Republic, Gryffin recruits yet another powerhouse vocalist, Calle Lehmann, on his newest single, “Alive.”
The duo, having collaborated several times over the years, have nailed the formula for dance bangers. “Alive” is no exception. The track flows with deep chord progressions, and dreamy synth plucks. Lehmann’s vocals soar overtop the production with such power and intent, bringing the track to the next level and crafting a true crowd-pleaser.
Gryffin shared his thoughts on the single, commenting,
“Alive is an emotional record at its core, but has a euphoric dance beat driving it that feels like pure summer to us. We’re thrilled to have it out and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.”
