It’s always a good day when two of dance music’s most established and beloved artists come together to make some magic. Today, Gryffin and Kaskade have united along with songwriter and vocalist Nu-La for a brand new single, “In My Head.” With Gryffin hot off the heels of the release of his third studio album, PULSE, and Kaskade fresh off his ORIGINS shows in Detroit and his native Chicago, this track is the perfect way to get rolling in 2025.
“In My Head” is a stutter house hit with its driving basslines, dreamy melodies, and chopped up synths. It’s always nice to see two tenured producers dip their hand into a newer sound. But as phenomenal as the production on this one is, it’d be a shame not to highlight the vocal performance from Nu-La on this track as well. Whose powerful vocals give “In My Head” the energy and emotion that truly make the entire song. It’s a completely different track without her and she aces her feature.
