Gryffin Revisits His Roots On New Album ‘PULSE’

|||,

Gryffin has been a staple in EDM for quite some time now. He has churned out countless classic songs and fabulous albums over his many years in the game, and that streak continues with his newest album PULSE.

PULSE isn’t a brand new version of Gryffin so much as it is him revisiting his beginnings. While for the past number of years Gryffin has become known for his grandiose and poppy tunes, he started with a mix of progressive house, trance, and melodic techno, and those chops are on fully display on this 14-track album. “WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG” brings the trance legend himself Armin Van Buuren into the fold, and the two create an eclectic thumping banger together.

LAST OF US” is the perfect mix of what we’ve come to expect from Gryffin with the bellowing vocals of Rita Ora and a mainstage anthem feel while staying true to the sound of the album. “MAGIC” is an addicting take on melodic techno, and “WHERE ARE YOU TONIGHT” reunited him with longtime vocal collaborator ZOHARA for a pulsating melodic hyperdrive.

PULSE is a fitting title for this album as each song has the ability to pulsate through any dancefloor. This album is energized, upbeat, and beautiful, and Gryffin really showcases where he is today musically. Stream PULSE below and enjoy!
