Rising Producer HEYZ Shares Dynamic Bass Track “Coming Up (Like That)”

||, |

Denver, Colorado is notorious for producing some of the best electronic acts in the scene. One of the city’s latest and greatest rising artists, HEYZ, is ready to show why he belongs among the great Denver ranks (you know, with Illenium, Big Gigantic, etc). HEYZ’s new track demonstrates exactly why he’s “Coming Up (Like That).”

HEYZ slowly reels the listener into “Coming Up (Like That),” with momentum-building chordal swells and rising white noise. Once the bass hits, the track drops into a half-time groove, accented by new lyrics from the previously repeating vocal sample. The producer strategically adds and subtracts specific elements, in order to build the dynamic quality of the track.

HEYZ commented on how this new release makes him feel:

Coming Up (Like That)’ is one of my babies. I birthed it with my computer, and I finally get to show my child to the world. This must be what a new mother feels like… ‘Will people think my child is pretty? Will my child be a success? Will I be a good mom?’
