In My Elements Boutique Festival Is Taking Place In July With 2-Part Coronavirus Testing

||, , |,

This could be the very first music festival that is set to take place this summer. In My Elements Festival, an open air spin-off of Elements Festival, has announced a 225 capacity festival on July 10-12. So far, artists headlining the event are house/techno veterans Maceo Plex and DJ Tennis, with support from DJ Holographic and Doc Martin.

The most head-turning factor of this event is that they will have 2-part coronavirus testing, both advance and on-site. All attendees, staff, talent, and vendors will be required to undergo testing. The first round of testing will be done three days prior to the vent, at-home. The second round will be done on the way into the festival, using a rapid test that yields results in 15 minutes.

The testing will be administered by Tested Contained Retreats, a new company founded with the goal of organizing safe, limited capacity retreats. Below is an excerpt from the “About” section of their website:

Tested Contained Retreats LLC (TCR) is a consultation and production service company that develops custom strategies to safely operate limited size retreats, performances, events, conferences, and gatherings with the most up to date safety and mitigation procedures for COVID-19. Partnering with nationally recognized EMT and medical services providers, we create comprehensive solutions to provide safe environments in accordance with local and state health regulations.

Tickets ain’t cheap, but considering this is an exclusive, outdoor 225-cap event that includes two different phases of coronavirus testing, the pricing kinda makes sense. For more information on the festival, including ticket sales, follow this link here.
