ISOxo and Knock2 Revive A Classic Sound On Debut Joint Album ‘4EVR’

||, , |,

“We are so back!” is more than likely the sentiment from every 2010s trap fan after listening to the new ISOKNOCK (ISOxo and Knock2) album 4EVR. Both artists have taken the game by storm individually over the last year, but decided to join forces for a variety of electric performances this year that has culminated in an absolutely stellar album.

4EVR is immaculate; it bridges the trap genre many fell in love with to a contemporary version of it. Top to bottom, ISOKNOCK captures everything that is amazing about trap music, right down to the switchups at almost every second or third drop. They even tapped one of the most instrumental producers of trap RL Grime for the track “SMACK TALK”, seemingly an ode to the sound with a brooding intro before unleashing pure chaos and seems to indicate a passing of the torch to the new engineers of the style.

Other standouts on the 8-track project include the lead track “TRASH (PARTY STARTER)”, which is an over-the-top anthem, and “PAIN” which showcases the duo’s imagination, innovation, and creativity.

4EVR is nonstop adrenaline from start to finish and could be viewed as an EDM album of the year candidate. ISOxo and Knock2 display a masterclass in creating a huge project that is sure to sweep the remaining months of festival season. This album is absolutely worth your time to listen to, so stream it below and enjoy!
