Drake’s most recent album For All The Dogs came out earlier this month and, as expected, has achieved massive streaming success. Among the plethora of features on the album is his collaboration with J. Cole titled “First Person Shooter.”
The track debuted at #1 on the Hot 100 alongside six other tracks from the album that made it into the top 10. Shockingly, this milestone marks the first time that J. Cole has earned the #1 hit of his career. While he’s had numerous Top 100 appearances throughout his career, J. Cole had never officially reached #1 until now.
It’s crazy to imagine it’s taken this long for J. Cole to crack the top spot with so many amazing tracks over the years. But thanks to the “Drake Effect” the wait is finally over.
