Jauz is definitely a man of his word. After giving fans a Twitter ultimatum back in November, promising to remix the beloved children’s song “Baby Shark” in exchange for 20k retweets, the day has finally come and the official remix is out!
Although we were pleased to hear Jauz first drop this latest offering via an incredible “Baby Shark” x “Sandstorm” mashup at Coachella, we can’t say we were expecting to see a full, official remix release alongside children’s educational brand Pinkfong (who recorded the version of the song Jauz remixed). But while this whole thing may have originated from a hilarious, fan-pleasing move, we can’t deny Jauz’s booming, wonky, bass-packed house remix is a banger and a half.
