For the past few years, Shark Week has continued to be dominated by our favorite aquatic producer, Jauz. This year has been a bit different though – as in place of going on a release frenzy, Jauz has just announced his debut album will be dropping on Friday, Aug 31.
Although Jauz dropped some new merch and a snapchat filter during this years Shark Week, we were a bit confused at the lack of new music from the LA-based producer. While in past years we’ve seen numerous bootlegs, collabs and remixes drop over the week, having already released two new singles ("Diamonds" & “In The Zone”), a label compilation and some hard-hitting collabs with DJ Snake, Snails, Lazer Lazer Lazer & more, Jauz has decided to drop only one more single before his debut album, The Wise and The Wicked is due next month.
