[PREMIERE] JVST SAY YES Drops Heavy Bass House Single “Do That Shit” Off Brillz’s Twonk Label

|||, ,

This past spring we had the opportunity to premiere Brillz’s newest collaboration with Jackal and Kstylis, “Twerk Star.” In addition to being a pulsing hip-hop/trap infused release, this single was a part of something much bigger – it came as the debut release on Brillz’s Twonk label, the culmination of many years of hard work and dedication on Brillz’s part. Since then the label has been on a tear, dropping track after track of high-energy, bass-heavy offerings.

Today we’re excited to be premiering another impressive new single from the Twonk label: “Do That Shit” by rising bass house producer JVST SAY YES. This Los Angeles-based artist has appeared on TSIS before, dropping a deep collaboration with Habstrakt back in 2015 titled “Higher.” He’s only gone up from there, and this track is yet another example of why you should keep him on your radar moving forward.

“Do That Shit” goes as hard as you’d expect it to, wasting no time jumping in with an intro of deeply distorted vocals and skittering percussion. This leads into a bouncy house melody that brightens up the track, building into a high-pitched bass house drop that rapidly switches between synth patterns that float above the steady percussion.

“Do That Shit” comes off of JVST SAY YES’s Maximize EP, set to drop this Friday via Twonk. If this single is any sign of what’s to come, it’s sure to be a good one. Check it out below and enjoy!
