Every year Coachella pulls out all the stops to put on a massive show with some of the biggest names in music – but today they just took it up a notch. As the southern-California festival already announced their stacked 2019 lineup only a few months ago, today they’re aiming to make history yet again, by bringing Kanye West out for a special “Sunday Service” performance.
We’re beyond excited at this latest news. With artists like Chance The Rapper, Lido, Brasstracks and Kanye included having pushed the boundaries of gospel in hip-hop over the past few years, Coachella definitely made the right decision with this latest venture. As millions of fans worldwide were blown away by a mere glimpse into Kanye’s first few “Sunday Service” shows there’s just no telling how big Kanye will go with a full festival production, and on Easter Sunday nonetheless. Check out the announcement and clips from the last “Sunday Service” below and enjoy!
