Kendrick Lamar, alongside his pgLang partner Dave Free and South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, is producing a live-action comedy film.

Here’s what the film will essentially be about, according to a press release:

The film will depict the past and present coming to a head when a young [B]lack man who is interning as a slave reenactor at a living history museum discovers that his white girlfriend’s ancestors once owned his.

The untitled movie will be distributed by Paramount Pictures, and production will begin as soon as this coming spring.

The enigmatic at-service company created by Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free, pgLang, is beginning to blossom. In addition to this new cinematic endeavor, pgLang also released Baby Keem’s 2021 album The Melodic Blue, which ranked as one of our favorite albums of the year.
