A couple months ago, Khalid teamed up with Disclosure to create the highly infectious, boppy R&B track “Talk.” Both artists crushed their roles, with Khalid stirring up some playful and romantic crooning to match Disclosure’s charming production.
With “Talk” in still heavy rotation, Khalid and Disclosure decided to drop off an edit of the tune, and it happens to be Disclosure’s own house VIP. The English duo knew exactly how to inject dancefloor energy into “Talk,” turning it from something you’d hear on the radio to something you’d hear at a day club. The playful mood of the track still remains, but the tempo is increased, and the drum patterned switched up. It’s a minor edit, but it works so well.
