The glitchy duo from Bristol is back. KOAN Sound have just delivered their new project following the 2018 album Polychrome, and it’s sounding otherworldly. The project is a five-track EP titled Intervals Above, and it features breathtaking sound design that will leave your mind blown.
There’s nobody out there that sounds like KOAN Sound. Their design sounds like sound effects for some sci-fi film, but the way they layer their basslines creates an identifiable swing that you can’t help but nod to. There’s something incredibly tasteful about their style that we just can’t get enough of.
