Kx5 Comes “Alive” On Nostalgic New Single With The Moth & The Flame

Earlier this year, two of the most influential electronic artists of all time released their first single as the duo, Kx5. One track and live headline debut later, deadmau5 and Kaskade return for the release of their third single, “Alive,” featuring vocals from The Moth & The Flame. The excitement doesn’t stop there though, because the duo recently announced their plans to release a full length album in the near future. If you can’t wait to get your hands on these new IDs, Kx5 will performing their second headline show at the legendary LA Memorial Coliseum on December 10, where you just might catch a few new tunes if you’re lucky.

Their new techno-infused cut showcases the throwback underground vibes we love to see from deadmau5 (which he particularly shows off in side project Testpilot) mixed with Kaskade’s clean-cutting synth pads and production style. Overall, feeding listeners with hardcore nostalgic vibes, “Alive” continues to establish the diverse sound we can come to expect from the legendary duo- it’s not deadmau5 and Kaskade, it’s Kx5. Emotion-filled vocals from The Moth & The Flame accentuate the track’s production with their powerful delivery, and add another element of pop-infused hooks to the track.

You can stream “Alive” at the link below, out everywhere via mau5trap/Arkade. Enjoy!
