In what’s become one of our favorite music traditions, Lane 8 just dropped the latest edition of his seasonal mixtape series, the new Winter 2022 Mixtape.
Listening to this three-hour-long mix is akin to catching a Lane 8 live set. Not only is everything flawlessly mixed, but the selections feature some of the hottest tunes of the winter, like Dom Dolla’s “New Gold” remix. It also spotlights some up-and-coming artists like Bacavi, and even includes some unreleased IDs from Lane 8.
We love these mixes because they highlight Lane 8’s range as an artist. While his albums feature more downtempo, melodic tracks, he goes hard in his live sets, throwing down anything from techno remixes to breakbeats.
