Every so often, we’re able to witness an artist go from underground hero to mainstream prodigy. Chicago based trio Levity are doing just that. Hot on the heels of their now viral Electric Forest debut, they’re announcing their debut EP with a brand-new single “Rising Tides.”
If you take a listen through Levity’s extensive SoundCloud catalog, you’ll notice that they’re not afraid to explore any genre they can lay their hands on. “Rising Tides” finds the trio exploring melodic and future bass sound designs with an element of pop. The track features singer/songwriter Lhasa Petik and sounds somewhat influenced by the earlier works of Flume and Louis the Child.
