TSIS favorite Lido and newcomer J’von have dropped their collaborative EP titled Spacesuit. This EP serves as J’von’s introduction to the site; A Seattle based artist who infuses R&B and Hip-Hop with his suave vocal melodies. Lido has made multiple appearances on the site this year already. One of which was for his executive production credits on Towkio’s single “Symphony”. In return, Towkio is featured on “Spacesuit” along with Mayer Hawthorne and Mulherin. Lido and J’von both have very unique styles. However, when combined there is an undeniable chemistry that calls for an impressive 7-track package.
Lido and J’von trade off smooth, easy-listening vocal accompaniments throughout the offering. Some of which are up-tempo and danceable, such as “Highly Overdue”. Some of which are slower and emotional, such as the outro track “Time and Space”. All of which are great songs in which Lido's incredible production lays the perfectly smooth foundation for J'von to bring the soul atop… Enjoy!
