Lido Surprises Fans With 3 Remixes: GoldLink, Justin Bieber & THEY.

||

Sometimes it better to start with a clean slate, right? Well, that's exactly what Lido did this afternoon (Aug. 3). The Norwegian artist wiped his Soundcloud profile dry of his catalogue and then uploaded three new songs to the page. Let's begin with his funky cover of Justin Bieber's hit single "Sorry". He, along with Heavy Mellow, Santell and Brasstracks crafted a soulful sax-filled rendition of the pop record. Something tells us it was put together at a BBQ in Los Angeles…check it below.

 In the words of Jay Z, onto the next one. Lido and Santell (on the vocals) have collectively tackled "Back It Up" off of THEY.'s Nu-Religion EP. While the original version holds down moody and rather hypnotic undertones, this "passion flip" imports a refreshing gospel vibe.

Last but not least we have Lido's groovy spin on "Sober Thoughts" by GoldLink. This song is not meant for walking. It's meant for strutting. Lido has yet to publicly comment on this grouping of releases at time of the publishing. Keep an eye on his Soundcloud. Something tells us we're in a for big announcement.
