“Cosmogonie,” is the perfect introduction to the LP, placing the listener right in the middle of the world of Pulsar. The energy meant to be felt by the listener is immediately evident, L’Impératrice incorporating funky guitar riffs and crisp disco drums. Tight grooves, soft vocals, and vocoders fill the production, reminiscent of the old school disco days. The spoken-word infused “Déjà-vue” especially grabbed our attention with its up-close-and-personal style.
