Logic is on a roll. The man must have been sitting on some tracks throughout his short-lived retirement, as he’s just delivered another top-shelf release—his third in almost as many weeks.
This new one is titled “Get Up,” and comes alongside a positive message from the veteran rapper. There’s a very inventive use of some acoustic guitar on this one, paired with some low key (but still knocking) drums. Logic delivers lyrics here in a nonchalant singing voice for most of the song, but comes in quick with a rapid-fire to give this one just the right amount of bite.
We’ve been a fan of each of these releases these past few weeks, and we’re hoping he continues with the consistent output. At the end of his last track, “Vaccine,” Logic hinted at dropping Bobby Tarantino 3.
