Logic1000 is the musical moniker of Samantha Poulter, who hails from Australia and is now based in Berlin. In the past few years since her project’s inception, this girl boss has caught the attention of the massive house and techno world with her production prowess. She just released a new EP In The Sweetness of You on her label Therapy last Friday, and it’s a certified vibe.
This five-song collection, which was co-produced by her partner Big Ever, is filled to the brim with pulsating techno and relentlessly groovy rhythms. The opening tunes “It’s All Around” and “What You Like” have smooth, hypnotic tempos and a deep, dark bassline. “Just Calling” is more of a loungy and chic house track, and then comes “Natural”, with expressive drum patterns and atmospheric vocals. Then “21” closes out the project, with a looping electronic beat that keeps the party going until the last note.
