Philadelphia based producer Louis Futon has made steady waves over the last few years through a variety of releases ranging from recent remixes of tracks like Gallant's "Weight In Gold" or Marian Hill's "One Time" or his unexectepd collaboration with Bassnectar.
Well today he may have just released his best work to date which is being released with his new friends ODESZA and their Foreign Family Collective label. This isn't too suprising considering just months ago he was supporting them on their fall tour.
This new track "Wasted On You" fits right in with the ODESZA aesthetic they’ve carried over to their label and is a collaborative effort featuring the vocals of Rozes. She's the rising singer who sung on “Roses” with The Chainsmokers or Just A Gent's "Limelight".
Harrison and Clay of ODESZA go as far to say:
“We’ve always been a fan of Louis Futon because of his incredible ability to excel in any genre he produces and this track is no exception. With vocals by the very talented ROZES, “Wasted On You” is a euphoric anthem that fuses distorted synths, airy vocals and pulsing percussion work.”
An eurphoric anthem is right, and you will find youself replaying this one more than once. We are excited for what's next from Louis Futon this year. Enjoy!
