||, , |,

Louis The Child and Quinn XCII are experts in making uplifting tracks that make you want to dance. Now the production duo from Chicago have linked up with the Detroit-based singer/rapper to deliver the vibrant, quirky track “The City”. It’s no surprise these  artists work well together – the crowd loved both of them at at Louis The Child’s co-headlining show at Red Rocks this spring. “The City” is the latest in a string of vibrant releases from Louis The Child, including their melodic summer jam “Better Not” ft. Wafia, while Quinn XCII is on a similar streak of catchy releases with artists like Gryffin and Phoebe Ryan to follow up his popular 2017 album The Story Of Us.

“The City” begins with a playful, warbling synth riff that becomes the foundation of the track underneath Quinn’s unique sing-song rapping style that makes it easy to sing along. As always, Louis The Child find a way to keep the production creative and addicting but not overwhelming so Quinn XCII’s vocals are given plenty of room to shine. Enjoy!
