Luca Lush & Oski Join Forces On Massive Bass Tune “Gangsta”

||, |

When we tell you this next track will put any DJ set over the top, we mean it. LA bass producer Luca Lush progresses as an artist with every new release we hear, and this might be our very favorite. Today, he teams up with the Australian Oski, for their first official collaboration, entitled “Gangsta.

“Gangsta” divulges not one, not two, but four unique drops from beginning to end. Each one even more hype than the last, Luca Lush and Oski really outdid themselves on this massive collaboration. The duo play with a variety of syncopated rhythms, flipping “Gangsta” on its head and transcending the “bass” genre it is categorized as.

Luca Lush spoke on the development of “Gangsta,” explaining:

This song came about during one of my ‘Digging for DingersTwitch streams circa mid-2020. Oski popped in the chat and asked if he could send some demos through, one of which was an early version of ‘Gangsta.’ I asked if I could put my spin on it and we started working on it over a Discord screen share the following week… Later this year, after diving more fully into techno, I wanted to lengthen the track and add a section at the end that would more thoroughly compliment my current style of sets without taking away from the heavy halftime front-end.

You can stream “Gangsta” at the link below, out everywhere now via Bassrush Records. Enjoy!
