Another posthumous song that features Mac Miller will arrive next month. The late artist will be featured on the new Talib Kweli and Madlib album, Liberation 2, set for release on March 6.
In addition to Mac Miller, Liberation 2 will also feature appearances from Q-Tip, Westside Gunn, and more. In a press release, Kweli says the project is “expansive in concept but tight in its substance and approach.” He and Madlib released the first single along with the album announcement, “After These Messages,” featuring Amani.
Liberation 2 will be exclusively available via Luminary, a subscription service that features podcasts most prominently.
