A new era of music from the beloved producer kicked off in April of last year, with “Love You Back,” and since then, we have been eagerly waiting (as have many) for more tunes. The electronic virtuoso accompanies the brand new track with an equally captivating music video, which you can check out below.
“Gonna Be Good” is definitely a more laid-back cut from the artist, but includes all of the sparkly leads, and bright vocals we love from Madeon. Warm synth pads wash over the listener, entrancing them in the producer’s signature, textured sound design. His voice enters the verse with a pop-infused twinge, reciting deeply personal lyrics with ease. A slow, steady build begins, Madeon assuring the listener “It’s Gonna Be Good,” as he breaks into a blissful, atmospheric drop.
